🔳“Direct sales corner proud of our members”
We are selling items that are proud of our members who are also farmers, so please come and buy them!

◆The proud local restaurant of Namioka Hongo
🔳 Bakery Keito (about 10 minutes by car from Medieval House)
Homepage: Click here for address and details
Point: Opening in 2021, this is a childhood friend's bakery that my children and I look forward to every time we return home. Not only are the flavors delicious, but the variety is so rich that it's fun to spend time choosing. We also have bread available for a limited time , so be sure to try it out for your home or as a souvenir. You'll definitely become a fan!
*A poster for the concert will also be posted.

🔳Maruyoshi Agricultural Machinery Store (2 minutes by car from Bakery Keito, right next to Hongo Post Office)
Point: You can also enjoy the rich Tsugaru dialect, and when I consulted with them about displaying posters at a reliable agricultural machinery store, they readily agreed. Mr. Shiratori, the representative of the farmers' band, said, ``I'm so jealous that I have friends who work at agricultural machinery stores!'' That's what I said. It is my childhood friend's family home, and I have many personal memories with it, and I am a reliable and indispensable member of the community.

(This is a landscape stamp that I received at the Hongo Post Office near Maruyoshi Agricultural Machinery Store. Hongo is also famous as the village of lily of the valley.)

Namioka is one of the most convenient areas in Aomori Prefecture in terms of transportation. And there are many ramen shops. My hometown, Hongo, is a small rural area within the larger Namioka , so there are no ramen shops, but a friend of mine opened a bakery in 2021, making Hongo even more attractive. Delicious food always makes everyone smile and motivates them to visit! Also, since the Tsugaru region has many people involved in agriculture, agricultural machinery stores are indispensable, so be sure to rely on them!

◆Traditional craft Hongo Daruma kite

(Hongo Daruma kite from my parents' home)

The gigantic Hongo Daruma kite displayed (is it still displayed?) in the medieval mansion at this event is a traditional craft from the Hongo area. The so-called Yuru character, Basara-kun, who has limbs coming out of a Hongo Daruma kite, has long been an image character of Namioka, and if you drive around Namioka, you'll probably see him somewhere. It's so cute!
The photo is of my father, and it is quite old, but when I was little he used to fly this kite that made a buzzing noise every New Year. Rather than just displaying traditional crafts, it's a good idea to use them to create memories with your children. I also wanted to create something like that.

◆ Relationship with the Tohoku Farmers' Orchestra The Tohoku Farmers' Orchestra is an orchestra made up of people involved in agriculture that holds concerts every year in a prefecture in the Tohoku region . This time, it will be performed in my hometown of Namioka (formerly Namioka Town), Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture.
The reason Satonobo, who is not even a member of the band, is introducing concerts is because of his relationship with the president, Mr. Shiratori. Mr. Shiratori is the representative of Shiratori Farm at the foot of Mt. Iwaki and is a musician who loves the Czech Republic . He is a person who is doing rich and interesting things, so please visit his homepage.
In addition, this time Czech musician, Mr. Idei, who will be in charge of conducting A. Dvorak's performance, is a musician I met when I studied abroad in the Czech Republic. He taught me about music even though I was an amateur, and helped me with an event to introduce Japanese songs organized by Japanese language department students. As a Czech music evangelist, he is active at Czech embassy events and other events, and I had the opportunity to have a small connection with Mr. Shiratori.

◆Music expressed by farmers, Koginzashi expressed by farmers
If you enjoy Kogin-zashi, many of you may relate to the feeling of enjoying expression during the agricultural off-season , even if you are not actually farming, through the experience of learning about the history of Kogin-zashi. I wanted to experience the music that can only be performed by the band members who face the harshness and richness of nature throughout Tohoku!
I am very grateful that I was born into a farming family in Namioka, studied abroad in the Czech Republic, and had the opportunity to recommend this concert to you. I will continue to work hard every day so that I can contribute to the local community in the future and be of help to someone in some way.
