Back and front of Kogin-zashi
◆Back and front of Kogin-zashi
Today's Kogin story is about the front and back of Kogin-zashi . When I first started Koginzashi, I was curious about the back of the stitch, and wondered if this was the right way to do it. How much leeway should I allow when changing stages? I was feeling anxious as I produced this. So please take a look at the back of my kogin.
I don't know if this is enough, but it satisfies the following two points (I decided it on my own (lol)) : 1) The bulge of the threads on the front side is even , and 2) The pattern remains beautiful even when the cloth is stretched. So I think this is probably okay. *In the starter kit , we go one step further.
I think it's okay to use sensory values in this area, and I think each person has their own measure of beauty, so the correct answer is ``Kogin that I like'' or ``Kogin that I think is beautiful when I look at it and touch it.'' I think it's good. So, please take a look at the photo below for reference only. When I was a beginner, I was grateful to have access to so many references, so my work is one of them.
I think the cloth is Kogin Duel and the thread is Tsukiya Kogin (8 threads).
