Bunka no Hi
◆Bunka no Hi event
Thank you so much to everyone who came out and stopped by my booth! I really appreciated seeing you all. And thank you also to everyone who came to see the demonstration, and to the organizers for putting this event together. I’m truly grateful.
(※ And at the end of this post, there is an important notice for those who purchased the Beginner’s Kit at Japan Fair in Bellevue this past July. Please take a moment to check it.)
◆My Recommended Kogin Embroidery Websit
If you are interested in exploring more about Kogin, I’d love to introduce a wonderful resource: **Koginbank**. Koginbank shares a wide range of perspectives on kogin and offers free traditional pattern charts. Their contribution to preserving and expanding the world of kogin is truly remarkable.
Many of you purchased kits at the event — thank you so much! If you’d like to try more patterns, I highly recommend exploring the **MODOCO DB** on their website to find a design that speaks to you. I hope you enjoy discovering and stitching these beautiful patterns.
◆To everyone who purchased the Beginner’s Kit at Japan Fair

For those who purchased the Beginner’s Kit at Japan Fair in Bellevue this past July,
there were three errors in the printing of the instruction sheet. I sincerely apologize, and I’m sorry that it took some time for me to notice and inform you.
Below is the correct information.
Thank you very much for your understanding and support.
The errors are located in the “◆ How to Thread the Needle” section on the Kogin Stitching Guide 1 page.
1) The description for the first photo should be:
“Make a crease with the needle about 6–7 cm (2.5 inches) from the end of the thread.”
2) The description for the fifth photo should be:
“While pressing the thread with your fingertip, slightly open the crease.”
3) The description for the seventh photo should be:
“Gently pull the thread through the needle eye with your fingers.”
If you have any questions, I’d be happy to help — please feel free to send me a message.
