Kogin Circle 2025[4]
◆ Kogin Circle 2025 [4] Favorite Modoko Results Announcement
Sorry for keeping you waiting. Today, we will announce the results of the survey of our circle members' favorite Modoko! If you are a beginner and have yet to find a pattern you like, we hope you will find this useful. Also, if you have a favorite pattern, we hope you will listen to the members' opinions and get closer to other patterns.
◯Survey content: What is your favorite Modoko?
◯ Survey participants: 72 Koginzashi circle members (as of February 24, 2025)
◯ Purpose of the survey: To narrow the gap between members and learn about the appeal of Modoko from the perspective of others
○ Implementation period: February 1, 2025 to February 24, 2025 (approximately 3 weeks)
◯ Collection status: 54 people (out of 72 members), 120 responses (0 to 4 responses per person)
◯ Summary of results: We asked the members to answer during their self-introductions. These results are based on the answers of 75% of the members. Some members mentioned the reason they chose the pattern, such as "I like the meaning of the pattern" or "Because I live with a cat," and in the future we would like to hear from members again about "the reason they chose their favorite pattern." In addition, we think that many members will come into contact with various patterns through their work in the future, so we thought we would conduct this survey about favorite Modoko again around December when the club activities end.

Because the answers are in terms of patterns as letters, not as diagrams, the patterns that each member has in mind may not be the same. For example, when you look at the word "saayagata" and the letters, there is one, but in reality there are multiple patterns called "saayagata." There may also be various differences, such as whether the horse's bridle has a thread post or not, whether it has a border or not, whether or not the lattice patterns are lumped together, etc., but we ask that you carefully handle these points within your own aesthetics and rules, and first of all, we hope that you will enjoy the patterns that you like!
In this circle, we hope that you will accept the thoughts of other members as they are (you don't have to agree with different opinions, but we respect them), turn your worries and negative thoughts into positive ones, and fully experience the charm of Koginzashi. We believe that by putting small things into words and talking with circle members, you will be able to notice new perspectives and achieve these things. We are grateful that small chats are already popping up on the circle account. We hope that by gradually realizing that this is a safe and secure circle, more members will be able to express their inspirations and thoughts, even if just a few words, in December.
◆The importance of self-introduction
As mentioned above, we believe that safety and security are important in club activities that do not involve face-to-face meetings. For the sake of those who are brave enough to share their experiences and work from the early days of our activities, we ask that you complete your self-introduction within one month of joining.
I believe that all members are participating despite their busy schedules, such as housework, childcare, and work, and I understand that some of you do not use Instagram frequently, but I would appreciate your cooperation. Also, thank you to everyone who introduced themselves so quickly. If you are unable to introduce yourself for a while due to circumstances, please let us know.
*You can introduce yourself either by email or message to me, or by posting an introduction on your circle account on Instagram.
As an administrator, I will delete or block anyone who appears to have joined the Koginzashi circle by mistake, or who may pose a threat to safety through suspicious behavior, in order to maintain a healthy environment.
